The Legacy of Galardi: A Premier Wine Producer in Campania

Passion and Tradition in Winemaking

In 1991, the decision to produce a high-quality wine able to put the tradition of the noble vineyards of the province was born of a passion rooted in the land around Sessa Aurunca, in the north of Campania.

The Birth of Terra di Lavoro

Three years later, the famous Terra di Lavoro, a unique wine produced by the Galardi estate, was released for the first time thanks to the participation of the famous oenologist Ricardo Cotarella, a man who would make this wine one of the finest, if not the finest, in the entire region of Campania.

A Unique Terroir and Global Recognition

Grown in volcanic soil at Roccamonfina on slopes between 400 and 500 metres above Gaeta's magnificent Gulf, Galardi's vineyards are home to two historic local grape varieties: Aglianico and Pedirosso. The result is an organic cultivation method that respects nature while showcasing meticulous craftsmanship. The prestigious Terra di Lavoro is truly an expression of its terroir. Modern yet traditional in design, this unique wine has received top scores from influential critics worldwide. It has been recognized as Italy's best wine multiple times by Gentlemen magazine.
